It keeps going and going and going
Well it seems the topic of my last post coupled with my accidental removal of commenting, has left some people thinking that I’ve quit blogging. For the record, I was merely stating that my blog sucks and I don’t see why anyone would want to read it. I don’t want to just continue posting about all the miserable stuff that goes on in my so called life, but honestly nothing else is really happening.
For instance on Friday a co-worker had said she was going to go to a bar just outside Atlanta to hear this band play and that I should go check it out. I agreed and not really knowing when the band would start I showed up at 20:30 to try to beat any cover. Well the band didn’t start until 22:30 so I had to wait for quite some time. Well after a 6:1 ratio of booze to minestrone soup, the mediocre band and my hiccups were urging me to leave. Being a bit in the bag I had to sleep in my car for an hour before I judged myself capable of driving home.
So short story even shorter – my co-worker never showed up and I had to spend an evening in a bar by myself. For normal people this wouldn’t be so bad, an opportunity to meet and speak to new people. But for me it was absolutely horrible. I’m quite introverted, as you all know, so of course I just stared at the TV in the corner all evening long watching a baseball game despite my complete lack of interest in the sport (I can’t even tell you who the Braves were playing against).
On Saturday, I downloaded Batoru Rowaiaru. It’s a good movie even if the plot is completely implausible. Takeshi Kitano played his role very well as usual. My favorite scenes of his including the instructional video and the phone call at the end.
That’s about all I got to say for now.

PS. I spotted Bastard Face on AIM when I got home from the bar – but I think I scared him off like some woodland creature when I IMed him and he quickly logged off. I can understand his actions thought…so Dan if you’re reading this don’t leave us in the dark for too long. How are things goin’.
